Toolkit for Collaboration
All employees of the administration, as well as external partners, are to be equipped with modern tools for digital teamwork in projects. In many cases, open, soundly functioning solutions already exist. The tools required for collaborative teamwork include a secure short messaging service, shared file storage, parallel document editing, a digital whiteboard, a project management system (Kanban, see glossary), and a video conferencing tool. These tools support collaboration with external partners. Such contemporary tools are already being used effectively by teams in ongoing strategy development processes. The Basic Collaboration Service is being developed jointly with the ITDZ and as part of the Berlin ICT architecture.
